I suppose you’re aware that a meal costs more at a restaurant because everyone working there gets payed, even if you could have made the meal for half the price yourself. With (probably) sims 5, or 3 to 4, the code and function of the game was changed enough that all of those things would have to be manually added into the new game all over again, something that takes insane amounts of hours, and it would probably not even be possible to do for the price of base game.
